Weather Situation A high pressure ridge will extend over Victoria on Monday while a weak cold front crosses Tasmania. The high pressure system will move across Victoria on Tuesday to eventually reach the Tasman Sea later on Wednesday ahead of a trough of low pressure later in the west on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of Monday Partly cloudy. Isolated showers, mainly in the south and west, contracting to the far south this afternoon. Winds west to southwesterly averaging 20 to 30 km/h, reaching 40 km/h at times, decreasing below 30 km/h later in the evening. Temperatures between 17 and 23 during the day.
