Planning Scheme Amendments - Nyora Development Plan DPO 10 - Wallis Watson Development

Proposal

Council has received a request from Wallis Watson Nyora Pty Ltd to approve a Development Plan for the land at 379 Lang Lang Poowong Road, 30 Glovers Road and 951 Yannathan Road Nyora. If approved, the Development Plan will facilitate the subdivision of the land into approximately 700 residential lots.

The Development Plan has been submitted in response to the requirements of Development Plan Overlay Schedule 10 'Nyora Urban Residential Growth Area (south of Glovers Road)' which is an existing provision in the South Gippsland Planning Scheme. Council must satisfy itself that the Development Plan submitted satisfies the requirements of DPO10 before it will be approved by Council.

DPO10 was introduced into the South Gippsland Planning Scheme by Planning Scheme Amendment C96.

The Development Plan was on public exhibition until Close of Business on Friday 25 January 2019.

It is important to note that if the Development Plan is approved by Council, no further public notification for the subdivision of the land will occur. If you have any concerns regarding the Development Plan, you must advise Council of these concerns as part of this current process.

The Development Plan Overlay Schedule 10 of the South Gippsland Planning Scheme can be viewed here. The Development Plan must be consistent with the requirements of this document for Council to approve the plan.
