Three-year-old enrolment

Three-year-old kindergarten enrolment is now open.
South Gippsland Shire Council is one of six rural councils selected by the Victorian Government to provide funded three year old kinder in 2020. Council has been working with the Department of Education & Training and kindergarten services to implement new three-year-old programs next year and we are happy to announce that enrolments are now open!

Enrolments will close 30 September, 2019. Late enrolments will still be accepted but will not receive a first round offer.

Things to know before you enrol:

  • Proof of birth is required when applying. Australian Government documentation such as birth certificate, passport or immunisation history statement (download from Medicare Online) is preferred.
  • Applications must be submitted by 30 June to be included in first round offers for the following year.
  • Applications made after 30 June will be processed in subsequent rounds. 
  • We will confirm your application within 10 business days.
