Rural road numbering

Rural road numbering & your mail

The mailing address for residents will include your rural road number, name of road, locality or mail centre and postcode.  If you currently have a Private Box / Bag or collect mail (c/-) then the Post Office will keep your existing method of addressing for mail.

Rural road numbering & your privacy

No, it is a number only and is not related to anyone living there or property name.  The number means you can remove your name from the front of your property if you wish.  The system can be used to ensure both privacy and security.
