Population: 4,222 (ABS 2006)

Korumburra is a peaceful country town, with a vibrant history and exciting future. Founded in the 1800's, after the discovery of vast coal resources, the township of Korumburra once flourished as an important mining town, of which the evidence is all around.

With an abundance of antique merchants to the amazing architectural samples, which enhances the townships beautiful tranquil setting.

For the true history buffs, Coal Creek Community Park & Museum, located on the outskirts of the township, is an interesting and educational day out for the whole family, and if is free adminision.
