Mirboo North  Printer Friendly

Population: 2,518 (ABS 2006)

Mirboo North is the town on top of the Grand Ridge Road, looking down on two large regions of South Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley. One of the most historic and picturesque townships in the region, Mirboo North is a service town offering the resident and the visitor alike all things once found in a typical country town.

Adorned with native flora, Mirboo North is decorated with the unique lily which has become its emblem and an important characteristic to its image.

Decorating the town are the works of an artist who has captured the era gone by with bullock drays and street scenes painted on shop walls.
