About South Gippsland Maternal and Child Health

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service is a FREE and Confidential service available to all Victorian families with children from birth to 6 years of age.

Our Maternal and Child health nurses (M&CH) hold specialist qualifications in Nursing, Midwifery and Maternal & Child Health and are part of a local network of health and support services that can refer families to other support agencies if required. This means our MCH nurses are well qualified to work with your family to help you care for your child.

We also provide information and advice to new parents on a range of maternal and child health topics.
