Many South Gippsland residents will be interested in - or directly affected by - the proposed Marinus Link project

Marinus Link is a proposed 1500 megawatt capacity undersea and underground electricity connection from Tasmania to Gippsland as part of Australia's future electricity grid.

Community consultation is currently underway and is expected to conclude in March 2021.

You can find out more about the project and see the dates and locations for the information sessions at:

Marinus Link will need approval from Government agencies in order to proceed. Council is not an approval authority at this time.
