Additional Green Waste Amnesty Period

Council is providing an additional Green Waste Amnesty period until 10 March.

Residents can dispose of their green waste for free at any of Council’s transfer stations until the end of the amnesty period.

Council is offering this additional service to assist residents to remove potential fire hazards on their properties.

Blackberry, Ragwort, Broom, Mirror Bush, Kikuyu Grass, Hawthorn, Cape Weed, Gorse, Pampas Grass, Palm fronds, Cordylines, Yuccas and related species are not included in the amnesty. These must be disposed of in the general waste and the applicable disposal fees paid.
