Planning Applications on Advertising

If a Planning Permit application impacts you, you may lodge an objection with Council in writing to state how the proposal would affect you if the permit was granted. Your submission must also include your name and address, the Planning Permit application number and the property address of the Planning Permit.

Planning applications will be on advertisement for 14 days. Council cannot make a decision during this period. Objections can still be accepted until a decision is made on the application (however the applications may not be available online after this period).

Before making your submission please read the important notes about objections/submissions to planning permit applications.

Once an objection form has been submitted, receipt of the objection will be acknowledged via email. The next notification you receive will then be correspondence advising you of Council's decision or additional information if the application is to be presented at a Council meeting.

Please note: that objections are public documents and able to be viewed at Council reception. The grounds of objection will be forwarded to the applicant.
