Community Leadership Program

The Community Leadership Program (CLP) aims to enhance and improve participants skills to enable them to more effectively work with other people, strengthen their leadership capability, manage conflict, delegate and meet objectives. It is hoped participants will use the skills and connections that they gain through the program to positively influence and support the development of local communities in South Gippsland.

What is involved?
Participants will partake in an intensive ten session skills development program held between March and September 2023 in locations across South Gippsland. There will be approximately two sessions a month delivered outside business hours either on alternating Saturdays and Sundays or a weekday evening (sessions are NOT delivered during school holidays). Participants must be prepared to attend all ten sessions. There are individual pre-session activities before each session – this is approximately 30 minutes a fortnight. The program is funded by the South Gippsland Shire Council, so there will be no fee for participants. Limited places are available.

Who should apply?
Anyone over the age of 18 that is interested in developing or enhancing their leadership skills. If you want to lead better or develop more confidence when working with others – this program is for you!
