Expressions of Interest: Musicians for Coal Creek Sunday Sessions

Council is looking for acts to support a headlined artist for two live performance events at Coal Creek in November. 

Sunday 15 November 2026 | 2.00pm to 5.00pm – Youth Showcase (Artists Under 25)

We are seeking:

  • 1 x solo act
  • 1 x DJ to perform between sets
  • 1 x duo act
  • 1 x group of up to four musicians

Sunday 29 November 2026 | 2.00pm to 5.00pm – Open Showcase

We are seeking:

  • 1 x solo act
  • 1 x DJ to perform between sets
  • 1 x duo act
  • 1 x group of up to four musicians

How to Apply

Artists interested in performing are invited to submit an expression of interest and include:

  • Artist or group name;

  • Contact details;
  • Brief biography;
  • Links to recordings, videos or social media pages (if available); and
  • Preferred event date and performance category.

Expressions of Interest close on Thursday 20 August 2026. Applications from a diverse range of musical genres are encouraged. Preference will be given to artists based in South Gippsland. 

All artists will be paid $250 (i.e. a duo will receive $500 / a band of four will receive $1,000), made possible with a grant from the Victorian Government’s 10,000 Gigs Fund.
