Customer Service Counter Changes

South Gippsland Shire Council will revert to a single customer service counter in Leongatha from Monday 1 September, following the conclusion of a 12-month trial of a second counter at the Korumburra Community Hub.

The decision follows a review of attendance data and consideration of community feedback.
After evaluating service usage and feedback, Council has determined that returning to a single location will provide a clearer and more efficient experience for community members.

From 1 September, the Leongatha customer service counter will be open:
Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 4.00pm.

There will be no change to phone-based services which will continue to be available Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.00pm. Council’s website is also available 24/7.
