Proposal

Amendment C125sgip proposes to:

  • Amend various provisions of the South Gippsland Planning Scheme to correct mapping anomalies, delete redundant controls, correct grammatical errors and make minor corrections to text.
  • Rezone land at 293 Jumbunna Road, Korumburra from FZ to GRZ1 to provide consistent zoning within a residential growth area (subject to DPO5), better provide for orderly land supply and development and reduce administrative burden on Council resources.
  • Rezone Council owned land at 141-143 Jupiter Boulevard, Venus Bay from Township Zone to Public Use Zone 6 (Local Government) to improve public parking facilities.

This amendment is now on public exhibition. Interested parties are invited to review and provide comment on the proposed changes. A full description of the amendment is include in the Exhibition Documents.

Public submissions must be received by Council, no later than 3 December 2021 at 5.00pm. All submissions are considered by Council and changes made where suitable.

Council may refer unresolved submissions and related changes to an independent planning panel hearing for review. Alternatively, they may decide to defer or abandon proposed changes.
