Kindergarten FAQs - How are kindergarten places allocated?

When you complete your registration form, you will nominate your top three preferences for a kindergarten provider. You'll also be asked to answer questions about your child and family. All of these answers help us allocate children to the appropriate kindergarten in accordance with the priorities set by the Department of Education, and the agreed local priorities.

Children who meet the Department of Education's Priority of Access criteria will always receive the highest priority, followed by children meeting the local priorities.
