The Arts, Culture and Creative Industries sector is well-known for extraordinary achievement, often with minimal funds, and little formal recognition. The Celebrate Across Gippsland event provides an awards-based event to highlight and celebrate the achievements of both individuals and businesses in the sector.
Prize winners may benefit financially through business or project promotions and visibility.
The Gala will provide advertising opportunity for sponsoring businesses.
An event committee will be appointed to develop award criteria and categories for nominations and then invitations will be invited from the community. The Committee will select and publish a short-list of nominees with overall winners decided by community vote.
