Residency open studio
Please come and visit me in Mirboo North at any time to take a peek inside the workings of my studio, and have a chat about my practice. I'll be making paint and paintings, listening to music and drinking coffee.
Process
For me, it is the raw elements that determine the final outcome of the painting. I'm more interested in how the colours and textures look together than my intended composition – I take my cues from the materials and how they behave on the canvas, letting them guide me, rather than trying to bend them to my will. At the moment I am most inspired by landscapes, and painting abstracted scenes from around South Gippsland.
Earth paint workshops

Tuesday 22 June: 2.00pm to 5.00pm
I will be holding three earth painting workshops during the month of June for those interested in learning more. Sessions are $55, all materials supplied. Please send an email to the address right with your details and which session you would like to register for.
