Please note that the 2025/2026 Emergency Grant Program has been fully subscribed and is now closed.
The 2026/2027 Emergency Grant Program will open on 1 July 2026 for applications.

The Emergency Grants Program is open for eligible community, volunteer and not-for-profit community groups to apply for funding for unexpected situations that need immediate assistance. Please contact our Grants Team on 5662 9887 to discuss if your project and/or community group is eligble for this funding. There is no close date and applications can be submitted at any time.
 
Eligible applicants can apply for between $1,000-$5,000 funding. Council can contribute funding up to 50% of the total project cost. Advice is given approximately 2 weeks from submission.
