Waste Education and Resources
We understand that navigating the recent changes to our kerbside waste collection service can be difficult. To help, we are offering free Waste Education Workshops and Presentations for groups within South Gippsland.
Topics include:
- Get to know FOGO - Learn about the new Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) collection service.
- Council kerbside waste services overview – FOGO, Recycling, General Waste.
- What can and can’t go in each bin.
- Waste minimisation at home / plastic free options.
- Getting the most out of your Transfer Station.
- Additional recycling and disposal options.
We can also customise a program to suit your needs.
Resources
We're developing waste education resources to help you sort materials and understand waste even better. These resources will be added periodically, so make sure you keep coming back to make sure you haven't missed anything!
