Advertising signs, display of goods and outdoor eating facilities

 

South Gippsland Shire Council is currently updating the Footpath Trading Permit system, with a new fee structure coming into effect next year (2026).

No action is required at this stage – your current permit will remain valid and is being automatically extended until December.

We’ll share more information about the updated permit process and requirements as soon as they’re finalised.
