Child Safety Commitment

South Gippsland Shire Council has zero tolerance towards child abuse. Council has a moral and legal responsibility to ensure that all children and young people are safe in our direct care and supervision.

Council provides training, resources, information and guidance to staff as required by the Child Safe Standards. These standards aim to build a stronger and more consistent approach to preventing and responding to child abuse.
