LCHS Information Expo at Milpara

Milpara Community House in Korumburra

Join Latrobe Community Health Service at Milpara as they give free advice and support on a range of programs including:

Support at home services, Care Finders connecting with a range of supports in the community including mental health, housing and homelessness, Personal Alarms Victoria – a personal alert system to use at home and in the garden and Lifestyle Victoria, a free program assisting with exercise, nutrition, medication reviews and falls prevention.

Refreshments Provided.

Free – no need to book, just pop in and say hello.

Functional Movement Class

YMCA SPLASH in Leongatha

Join us for Functional Movement! This group fitness class focuses on enhancing strength, balance, and mobility for everyday movement. Ideal for anyone wanting to stay active and wanting to improve fitness. 

This activity runs every Tuesday and Thursday and is free for over 60s through October.

Gentle Movers - hosted by Boofiit

Held at the Baromi Centre in Mirboo North

Come and try Gentle Movers with Boofiit - A low-impact class designed for over 65s, focusing on movements that support everyday activities. Improve balance, strength, flexibility, and overall mobility. 

This activity runs every Friday and is $15 per class.

Grandparents Storytime

Leongatha Library

Myli are pleased to host a special Seniors Festival Storytime for Grandparents and Significant Others.  

Children have a chance to bring a grandparent or other special senior to the library for Storytime. This is free and will feature storytelling, singing songs, craft and rhymes.   

Storytime is developed for children 3-5 with younger and older children are welcome to join in the session.  

No booking required, please feel free to walk in.

Friday 2 October, 3.00-5.00pm

Golden Bowls at Tarwin Lower Recreaton Reserve

A fun Bowling event (coaches on deck) which offers you an event incorporating, outdoors in the fresh air, bodily movement gathering together, sports and socialising.  

Held on Friday 2, 9, 16 and 23 October.
