Our immunisation service provides a full range of vaccines including:
- Free Immunisations: Through the National Immunisation Program (NIP), for all eligible children, secondary school students, pregnant people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and adults over 65 years who live in the South Gippsland Shire.
- Catch-up Immunisations: Free catch-up vaccinations for missed childhood and adolescent NIP vaccines up to and including 19 years of age.
OR
If your child was immunised overseas, we can review your child's history, update the Australian Immunisation Register and reccomend catch-up vaccinations if needed.
- Paid Vaccines: Vaccines that are not funded by the National Immunisation Program (NIP) e.g. flu, non-standard childhood vaccines, early adult vaccinations and specific vaccinations (e.g. Shingles).
South Gippsland Shire Council runs several weekly public immunisation sessions every month at a range of local community centres. Locations can be found under the 'Available Sessions' tab below.
