Working within a road reserve
If you are needing to do works in a road reserve for any reason (driveway construction, culvert installations, sewer, water, storm water connections) then you will need to apply for a 'Working in a Road Reserve' permit.
What is a road reserve? A road reserve is the land between the road kerb and the front property line of private property where it contains the verge, footpath and landscape strip eg nature strip.
If you are needing to do works in a road reserve for any reason (sewer, water, storm water connections) then you will need to apply for a 'Working in a Road Reserve' permit.
There are two types of application forms that may need to be completed.
|Non-Utilities Application Form||Utilities Application Form|
|This form is required to be completed by an owner, occupier, builder or contractor when works are required within a road reserve (nature strip, road etc) for any reason eg construction of a driveway, installation of culvert, sewer, water, storm water connections.||This form is required to be completed by the Utility companies (eg TRU, Telstra, Water Authorities etc) or contractor working on behalf of the Utility companies, for new services or extension to services for works within a road reserve (nature strip, road etc).|
