Suspension of Road Management Plan

The South Gippsland Shire Council Road Management Plan has been suspended while Council and the community respond to the 13 February 2024 storm event.

Council makes every endeavour to meet all aspects of the South Gippsland Council Road Management Plan.
However occassionally, there will be situations that impact Council's business activity and affect our ability to delivery the service levels outlined in the Plan. The 13 February 2024 storm event is one such event.

The South Gippsland Shire Council Road Management Plan has been temporarily suspended (as per section 4.11 Exceptional Circumstance) the South Gippsland Shire road network for a period of three months, due to our inability to meet the required service levels.
