As part of Council’s budget feedback process, the proposed lease of 2746 Meeniyan Promontory Road, Yanakie is now open for community consultation.
Council is proposing to lease the site to the Corner Inlet Motorcycle Club for five years as of 1 July 2025, with an option for a further lease term of five years for the purpose and use of the land as a motorcycle track and club.
The Club's first lease of this land area began in December 2004 and was renewed for the duration of 10 years in 2015.
