Updates to Footpath Trading Permits

New Footpath Trading Permit Applications and fact sheets have been sent to business owners.
The new permits will run from 1 January to 31 December each year, with renewal notices sent out towards the end of November.
Under the updated system, the fee is $75 per square metre instead of a flat rate.
To continue being able to trade on the footpath during this transition phase, please complete the application form and return to Council with a copy of your public liability certificate of currency by 31 December 2025.
