Eat Drink Play Gippsland

A family-friendly event that takes you from paddock to party.
Inspired by the Eat Drink Gippsland Guide, this festival unites the best of our region’s food and drink producers during the day before a night of live music. Split into two sessions, the festival caters to those who are keen on a sip, sample and sit in the sun between 11.00am and 5.00pm, and those who want to dance the night away from 6.00pm to 10.00pm, or both!
Located at the newly redeveloped Leongatha Railway Precinct, it’s a chance to wander around and sample Gippsland’s finest food and drink in a lovely outdoor setting while local musicians provide a backing track. There is plenty of entertainment for kids, including face painting, a playground and mini-golf.
Much-loved local restaurants and cafes will be serving up tasty treats. Plus, cheese, ice cream and other delectable dairy delights from the region’s best producers will be on offer. Raise a glass filled with one of Gippsland’s finest beers, wines or spirits crafted with love amongst our rolling hills.
The night will be a lively celebration of music from Steph Stings, Emma Donovan and the Melbourne Ska Orchestra.
Departing at 9.45am and returning at 4.40pm and 10.00pm, there is a bus service that will ferry guests to and from Yarram, San Remo, Warragul and Traralgon.
