Great Southern Rail Trail Detour

Great Southern Rail Trail Closure Published Monday, 13th October 2025

Access to the Leongatha Railway Precinct will be restricted to allow for event preparation.

To allow for event set up for Eat Drink Play Gippsland, access to the Leongatha Railway Precinct will be restricted from the following dates until 7.00am Sunday 19 October.

  • Tuesday 14 October – closure of bottom carpark (behind Bair Street) from 8.00pm.
  • Thursday 16 October – closure of entire site (including pedestrian bridge and GSRT) from 8.00pm.
