Walk Against Family Violence

16 Days of Activism Published Wednesday, 05th November 2025

Wear orange and join the walk towards a future free from violence on 26 November. 

To support the 16 Days of Activism, Council is hosting a Walk Against Family Violence. It will begin outside the Leongatha Memorial Hall, where PollyannaR will be hosting a Respect-themed photo pop-up activity. 

Date: Wednesday 26 November
Where: Outside Memorial Hall, Leongatha
Time: 12.30pm - 1.00pm Walk, 10.00am - 2.00pm Photo Pop-Up.

The 16 Days of Activism runs between the Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on 25 November and International Human Rights Day on 10 December. Its aim is to bring people together to prevent and eliminate gender-based violence.
