Safe Locals Roads and Streets

We’re working to make streets and roads safer in South Gippsland.
Thanks to $2 million in funding from the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), seven key locations across South Gippsland have been selected for safety upgrades, including better crossings and calmer traffic.
The project includes the installation of speed cushions, mini roundabouts, pedestrian crossings, and reduced speed limits in busy areas – all designed to improve safety and accessibility for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
