Join us to honour and remember those whose lives have been taken due to family violence.

May is Domestic and Family Violence Month, an annual event that raises awareness of the ongoing issue of family violence and its impacts on our community.

Across Australia on Wednesday, public spaces will be lit in purple and people will gather at twilight to reflect, stand together, and reaffirm our collective commitment towards a future free from violence, where everyone feels safe at home.

When: Wednesday 6 May.
Where: The grassed area between Council's office at 9 Smith Street and Leongatha Memorial Hall.
Time: 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
Free hot choccies will be available.
