Notice of Sale
Council impounded the following vehicle on 29 January 2026 in accordance with Schedule 11 of the Local Government Act 1989 from Neals Road, Buffalo.
- Jeep Station Wagon
- Colour: Silver
- Year: 2002
- Registration Number: 1SN2IJ
- VIN Number: 1J8GM48712W288776
As this vehicle has not been collected and relevant fees paid within 14 days of impoundment, the vehicle will now be offered for sale to the public.
Offers marked 'Abandoned Vehicle' and addressed to the Coordinator Community Safety are hereby invited for the purchase and removal from Council of the aforementioned abandoned vehicle.
Offers close at 2.00pm on Thursday 20 August 2026 and are to be either posted to the South Gippsland Shire Council, Private Bag 4, Leongatha VIC 3953 or emailed to council@southgippsland.vic.gov.au on or before the said time and date.
The vehicle can be viewed by appointment with the Community Safety team on 5662 9200.
The highest or any offer will not necessarily be accepted.
