Tree Transplant Works in Leongatha

Council contractors will be working to transplant four established trees on Sunday 16 August.

The contractors will be working in garden beds at the intersection of McCartin Street, Peart Street and Bruce Street (roundabout intersection).

The trees are being relocated as part of a suite of road safety projects to be delivered in Leongatha over the next 12 months.

The trees will be replanted at McIndoe Park and Centenary Park, giving them a new home where they can continue to grow and contribute to the Parks as they mature.

Please drive safely around the area. Traffic control will be in place, so some minor delays may occur.
