Landslip Works at Toora

Caution Published Friday, 21st August 2026

Silcocks Hill Road in Toora will be closed for approximately four to six weeks for landslip remediation works.

From Monday 24 August works will be undertaken to address a landslip. Local traffic will continue to have access on either side of the closure.

From the South Gippsland Highway, Toora, access will be limited to local traffic only south of the lookout. From Creamery Valley Road, Toora North, access will be limited to local traffic only north of the lookout.

The road is expected to be closed for up to six weeks while repairs are completed.

Detour signage will be in place from Monday, with road users directed to use Creamery Valley Road as the alternative route.

Please drive carefully and follow all signage in the area.
