Help shape the future of local swimming pools

We want to everyone to have their say on the future of aquatic facilities in South Gippsland.
To help the community understand the challenge, Council has developed an Aquatics Options Paper. The paper has been developed in response to the significant challenges facing Council's aquatic facilities, including ageing infrastructure, changing visitation numbers, rising operating costs and the substantial investment required to renew pools.
No decisions have been made. Community feedback will be considered alongside evidence about asset condition, visitation, operating and maintenance costs, future capital requirements, service provision, risks and Council's other strategic priorities.
We want to hear from everyone, whether you use a local pool regularly, occasionally or not at all. The ongoing costs are signficant, and feedback from people across the Shire will help inform decisions about the future of our aquatic facilities.
