Shift: the Work Life Balance

Shift: The Work Life Balance is a program funded by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation and aims to promote gambling-free activities for people to do in their spare time.

Research shows that people working non-traditional hours are at four times greater risk of choosing gambling as a source of entertainment during their time off and as a consequence are at great risk of experiencing gambling harm.

Upcoming Events

Council is running Shift: The Work Life Balance workshops/events to engage with people who work non-traditional hours such as shift workers and truck drivers.

These events will provide an opportunity for attendees to meet with other people in their community who also work non-traditional hours and to discuss any shared interests.
