Your Collection Schedule

If you are a Korumburra or Leongatha resident, before you look at the Collection Calendar, determine if you are in the eastern (pink) or western (blue) collection area.

The table below explains what bins are collected each week. For Korumburra and Leongatha residents, you are broken down into 'Eastern' and 'Western'.

Use the colours in the Recycling and General Waste columns to determine which bin is being collected. Your FOGO (green-lidded) bin is collected each week.

For example, if you live in Foster, you can see that pink weeks are your Recycling collection and blue are your General Waste collections.

Public Holiday Collections

Kerbside bin collections occur as scheduled on all public holidays, except for Christmas Day. Bins scheduled to be picked up on Christmas Day will be collected on Boxing Day. Service changes are usually confirmed in early December and promoted in local publications and on Council's website. In 2026, Christmas Day changes will affect Korumburra and Kongwak residents only.
