New CEO starts

Mr Tim Tamlin, Council’s new Chief Executive Officer, commenced in the role on Wednesday 4th November.
Tim comes from the City of Greater Dandenong Council where he was Director of Engineering Services He has also had management responsibility across a wide range of Council activities, and has performed as Acting CEO. |

| | Preparing for a fire safe summer

As information is being received from State Government following the Royal Commission, Council is integrating the latest guidelines into its Emergency Management Plans.
In the meantime, residents are urged to review their Fire Plans and and clean areas around their home of flammable material. Green waste is accepted free of charge at the Koonwarra Transfer Station. |

In May 2009 the Minister for Planning brought new provisions into the South Gippsland Planning Scheme that relate to land within the Farming Zone, known as Amendment C48.
