The Proposed Annual Budget is now on exhibition and open for comment
Budget 2015-16 The detailed Proposed 2015-2016 Annual Budget (plus a brief Summary) can now be viewed. The community is invited to make comment by formal written submission, or informally through OurSay. The attached documents will guide you through the process. You have until Wed 29 April to lodge your submission. Hard copies are also available at Council and local libraries. A community Q & A session will also be held on Wed 15 April Call 5662 9222 to book a speaking time and register your question.
Heavy Vehicle Alternate Route Final Design released
Truck This alternate route which will divert approximately 600 vehicles from the town centre daily, is now one step closer with the release of the final design. Take a look here This is the culmination of over a year of traffic modeling, survey works and extensive community consultation. The 6th VicRoads Information Update is also attached and provides detail on this greatly awaited infrastructure project

Father and son Over 200 people attended a Community Information Forum recently to better understand the insidious drug ICE that is becoming more prevalent in our communities. A list of help agencies is attached for those who may need assistance for themselves or for a family member or friend.

Shire Logo Colour The new Victorian Government has extended the moratorium on CSG exploration until further parliamentary enquiry - toward the end of the year. Council plans to survey the community to ascertain its views on these issues. This may be done online or as a letterbox drop in July.
