Development Plans - Development Plan - 99 Bena Road Korumburra

Council received a Development Plan application from Hillview Rise Pty Ltd for the land at 99 Bena Road Korumburra (Lot 1 PS321371X) which is land on the southern side of Bena Road opposite Mountain Ash Drive.

The Development Plan has been submitted in response to the requirements of the Development Plan Overlay (DPO) Schedule 6: Korumburra Residential Growth Areas. An approved Development Plan is required for the site prior to subdivision taking place.

Please note, if the Development Plan is approved, no further public notification for the subdivision of the land will occur.

If you have any concerns regarding the Development Plan, you must advise Council in writing of these concerns as part of this current process.

The applicant for the Development Plan applied to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) to decide the application. VCAT has remitted back to Council for a decision as per VCAT Order 29 February 2024.

Council will be making a decision at the May Council meeting (as per VCAT Order 29/2/24) on the following set of application documents. The application proposes a Development Plan expected to yield 170 residential lots as well as 1.5ha area for aged care/residential village. Submissions provided in response to the advertised plans in 2023 will be discussed and attached (redacted version) forming part of the May Council meeting agenda. Submissions can be submitted until Tuesday 7 May, 2024.
