Why this project?
Grundy Avenue in Nyora is a local street that services residential areas, the local primary school, recreation reserve and intersects Davis Street where the post office, pharmacy and local cafe are located. The intension of the project is to slow traffic.
What is involved?
The broad scope of this project is to deliver targeted speed controls with a reduced speed limit, supported by the installation of speed cushions and associated lighting.
What are the benefits?
Vehicle speeds will be reduced, which will improve safety for pedestrians accessing the primary school and recreation reserve.
